AWANA
At AWANA, children meet each week to memorize Scriputre and have fun with others. Each child earns "AWANA Bucks" for attending and bringing the following each week:
- Uniform - if you don't have one yet, we'll order it for you on Sunday.
- Handbook - We will get you one of these, too.
- Bible - If you need a Bible, let Jared know.
- Dues - Any amount.
- Friends - bringing a friend gets you extra AWANA Bucks.
Children can also earn AWANA Bucks by participating in these nights and memorizing Scripture. In January and May we will have the AWANA store, where children can spend AWANA Bucks on prizes.
This year AWANA will be divided into 4 teams:
Preschool (Ages 3-5)
Children will work on memorizing Scripture in an age appropriate way.
Sparks (Grades K-2)
Children will work in small groups to memorize Scripture.
T & T (Grades 3 &4)
Children will work individually to memorize Scripture.
T & T Ultimate Challenge (5th Graders)
Children will be part of the T & T group but also have some leadership responsibilities.
We have a GREAT group of volunteers who are committed to building the Kingdom by helping children learn and understand God's Word. We are SO excited about AWANA 2011-2012 and look forward to seeing your children there.
We meet every Sunday evening at our Plum Creek NORTH location on 961 Nagel Road, from 5:45 - 7:45 PM.
